New owners have taken over the Five Daughters Kitchen in Rosemary Beach, Florida. Now simply known as The Daughters Kitchen, this restaurant still has the same heart and soul as before. They did roll out a whole new menu but have been slowly restoring fan favorites their loyal patrons sorely missed. The donuts, in particular, were missing from their winning formula for far too long. But they’ve long since solved that issue by partnering up with Charlie’s Donuts.
In addition to all their exquisite donuts, they have all the breakfast and lunch fare you need to satisfy your cravings. If you’re in the mood to start the day with something savory, then look to their bagel and lox, southern bowl, or avocado toast. Want a classic lunch served with a smile? Order up a grilled cheese, egg salad sandwich, or grilled BLT.
Just don’t forget to pair your meal with an espresso made to order using your favorite additions. Their Teddy Gram Latte is to die for, so try it at least once during your visits. They also have orange juice, loose tea, and many other juices and sodas if you’re not a fan of coffee.
Their most popular menu items include:
After much pushback from their loyal patrons, the team finally got donuts back in the case. Their sweet treats now come from the beloved Charlie’s Donuts in all your favorite flavors. You won’t want to miss the chocolate sea salt and vanilla crème donuts, so get here early to grab a few before they’re gone for the day. If you want something truly off the wall, don’t skip out on getting a cronut or two.
When you just want something simple that’s sure to hit the spot, set your sights on the AB&J. This tasty concoction starts with soft Nature’s Own white bread. They slather on a layer of almond butter on one side, then add jam to the other. Once each side is slapped together, they are ready to eat. Take your meal to the next level with an order of plain potato chips alongside.
For a hearty breakfast that’ll keep you going all day, you need to order the Breakfast Tacos. They start this meal by putting down three corn tortillas on the plate. On each one, they pile on the scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, and queso cheese. Then, they sprinkle chopped cilantro over each one and serve it with a side of salsa.
Lunch has never looked better than when you get The Mitchell served to your table. This sandwich is built upon flavorful sourdough bread, starting with a generous helping of sliced turkey. After that, they add the aged cheddar, bacon, avocado, sprouts, and tomatoes. Vegenaise finishes it off right, as does an order of fruit or chips on the side, though that’ll cost you a bit extra.
You can even swing by here after dinner to get a scoop or two of Blue Bell Ice Cream. You can get your scoops in a plain, sugar, or waffle cone if you want to enjoy it on the go. But if you’re hankering for candy toppings, ask for a bowl instead.
– The line is often long, especially in the morning, so browse the menu while you wait to streamline your visit.
– To save time, you can place your order through their website. Don’t bother trying to call, however, since they don’t have the ability to answer phones when it gets busy.
– If you want whipped cream added to your coffee, expect an extra charge. They also charge a bit more if you need them to use a milk substitute for your espresso drinks.
