When you walk into Cowgirl Kitchen in Rosemary Beach, Florida, you’ll instantly receive a warm welcome and catch a whiff of their tantalizing creations cooking up in the kitchen. Although they’ve recently opened up another shop down the 30A, this flagship store remains at the heart of it all.

It’s here where they dream up new menu items and set the tone for the dining experience they aim to provide. And you can trust that every last bit of what they offer comes with a healthy portion of sass. Their eatery has moxie, after all, as do all their servers and they let it be known. They are always beyond sophisticated and friendly as all get out, too, making it easy to become fast friends with the whole team before your meal is over.

You’ll be equally impressed with all their menu items, which are dreamed up to delight everyone, young and old. They put all the flavors of the Gulf Coast front and center, including grouper and shrimp galore. They also go beyond that to the downhome classics that speak to their cowgirl traditions, like pulled pork rolls and chicken salad sandwiches. No matter what you order, you really cannot go wrong as each dish is made with fresh ingredients and tons of love.

Their most popular menu items include:

Grouper Sandwich
If fish is calling your name, treat yourself to a Grouper Sandwich. This tantalizing creation starts with a hearty fillet of Florida grouper, which is lightly seasoned and thrown on the grill. Once it is tender and flaky, they put it on a grilled Kaiser bun before adding a scoop of the jalapeno sweet pickle slaw. To finish it off right, cilantro-lime crema goes over the fish and slaw while house-made tortilla chips come alongside.

Beachy Shrimp Roll
For even more Gulf Coast flavors, there’s always the Beachy Shrimp Roll awaiting your order. They take huge Gulf shrimp and throw them on the grill until juicy, tender, and oh so delicious. Then, they place them on a grilled roll and add tons of arugula and tarragon dressing. Potato chips come with this sandwich, adding a dash of salt that heightens the rich seafood flavors.

30A Special Pizza
All their pizzas are well worth a try, but it’s the 30A Special Pizza that takes the cake. They start with 100% scratch-made dough that’s rolled out thin to 11-inch diameter. Once it’s proofed in the oven, they put garlic and extra virgin olive oil down before piling on the toppings. Green olives, black olives and portabella mushrooms land on top next before the feta and mozzarella arrive on the scene. The whole thing gets browned in the oven until the cheese is bubbling, then they add white truffle oil, sea salt, and fresh parmesan right before serving.

If you want to try your hand at creating your own delicious dishes at home, load up on awesome ingredients at their little shop across the street. Just head across the cobblestone thoroughfare to reach CK Feed & Supply where you can get many of the items used to create your favorite dishes at this restaurant. If you’re not sure just what to get, ask the Cowgirl Kitchen team for recommendations before you scoot on over there.
