The Big Chill, previously known as The Hub, is a sprawling hangout space flanked by food vendors. The appeal is the open-concept design: you’ll find picnic tables, space for kids to spread out and let loose, and depending on the day you visit, music, movies, or other happenings on the lawn. This is a low-effort place to bring the entire family for food, drinks, and fun in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Though the food isn’t the cheapest in town, it’s also surprisingly good. You’ll find several food vendors here, from ice cream to coffee shops to full burger/Americana fare. Thanks to the layout, it’s convenient to try something from multiple vendors while you’re there.
If you’re visiting with the family, you might want to check the schedule of events before you go; the Big Chill’s website and Facebook page are consistently updated with upcoming happenings, so you’ll be able to check ahead of time whether there’s a movie, a dance party, or another event happening when you plan to visit.

Duo’s serves up classic American fare: burgers, seafood, kid-friendly grub, and more. For classic comfort food that’s a step above your typical food truck, this is the place to go. Make sure to save room for dessert. The key lime pie and homemade brownies are incomparable.
Local Smoke
Try some home-smoked meats and classic Southern sides like mac and cheese, potato salad, or a loaded baked potato here. This is the place to go if you have a BBQ craving that only authentic smoked meat is going to cure.
Nectar Coffee
Need a pick-me-up? Nectar Coffee offers more than just espresso drinks (though they certainly do those well). Here you’ll also find juice, tea, freshly blended smoothies, and breakfast items, all served up with a smile.
Tackle Box
Grab some freshly caught coastal seafood at Tackle Box. This is the place for fish and chips, the catch of the day, grouper, fried shrimp, or mouthwatering crab cakes.
Mr. Freeze
Whatever you choose for your feast, it makes sense to finish your evening with a treat from Mr. Freeze. Grab a shake, ice cream cone, or specialty sundae for the cherry on top of the whole experience.
Though the menu items sometimes vary at the vendors here, you can be sure to find something to suit everyone’s taste in your group. The Big Chill is a no-brainer when you have multiple picky eaters in the group with particular ideas about what they want for dinner. Although prices aren’t the lowest, the fun atmosphere and convenience of the location are hard to beat.
