Sunset Bowls makes heart-healthy granola bowls and smoothies. A food truck that offers nutritious and wholesome meals, is one place you can feel good about eating at.

All of the bowls at Sunset Bowls have are based on a blend of granola and acai, which gets topped with a variety of cacao nibs, honey, and fruit depending on the bowl you select. Some also have peanut butter, Nutella, or coconut if those flavors are more your preference.

The two smoothies on the menu are similar to the bowls, but only one of the smoothies has acai. The Islander is a fruity concoction that has acai, banana, and other berries, while the North Shore features richer flavors of chocolate and peanut butter.

All of these dishes are vegetarian, and each of them can be made vegan by leaving out any honey or milk (in the smoothies). Almond milk can be substituted for traditional dairy milk at no additional cost.

These bowls and smoothies are made fresh and served out of half of a food truck, but the staff is able to serve customers in a timely fashion. Everything on the menu is less than $10, making this not only one of the healthiest dining options but also one of the most affordable places on the beach.

If you’re looking for a healthy place to eat on the beach, try one of the bowls or smoothies at Sunset Bowls. Vastly different from common deep-friend beach food, the food here has more flavor and will leave you feeling much better after your meal.

A few of our menu favorites at Sunset Bowls include:

Sunset Bowl
Go with the namesake Sunset Bowl, which features a tropical combination of mango, kiwi, coconut, and banana on top of acai and granola. Honey sweetens everything.

Hang Ten
A healthier version of a mudslide, the Hang Ten combines the bowl’s base with peanut butter, Nutella, and cacao nibs. There are also banana, coconut and strawberries on top for an extra-rich flavor.

Local
The Local bowl is a berry lover’s dream. Strawberries and blueberries add color and taste, and they go especially well with acai and granola.

Islander
Similar to the Local, the Islander is a smoothie that features strawberries, blueberries and acai. Get it with regular or almond milk depending on your dietary preference.

North Shore
One of the most filling options on the menu, the North Shore combines milk, peanut butter, banana and strawberries with whey protein. Choose either vanilla or chocolate protein, and either milk option is available.

Insider Tip:
When you’re finished with your bowl or smoothie, don’t throw anything away. All utensils and containers are fully compostable and suitable for a compost pile or recycling bin.
