Coffee Ave brings great brews to the beach. With good coffee, affordable prices and a location that’s perfect, this little business is well worth a visit when you need a caffeinated pick-me-up.
The beverage menu at Coffee Ave spans the full spectrum of coffee-based beverages. There are the traditional drips, iced coffees and lattes, and you’ll also find higher-end cold brews, signature drinks and Cuban-inspired creations. If you’re unsure of what to get, there’s a helpful chart that details what’s in many of the beverages or you can ask the barista who’s working.
If you prefer a non-coffee beverage, there are several hot and iced tea options. Boba tea is also available (and particularly delicious).
Food options here are somewhat limited, consisting of a trio of pastries. Each of the pastries is worth ordering, though, and can be a nice complement to a cup of coffee.
Regarding prices, this cafe is on the more affordable side of coffee shops. All of the drinks except one are $5 or less for a large, and smalls generally run between $2 and $4.
An especially uncommon feature among coffee shops, you can select from any of the milk or milk alternatives at no additional cost. The milk choices include various dairy milks, along with soy, coconut and almond milks. Thus, you can get an Iced Spanish Coconut Milk Latte for only $4.
When it comes to good coffee, everyone has their favorite beverage. You’ll find yours here, and it’s bound to be made well. Stop by for a caffeine fix or just for something delicious to drink.
A few of our menu favorites at Coffee Ave include:
Cafe Con Leche
Cuban coffee is strong and sweet, and many people prefer it with some milk. The Cafe Con Leche preps the coffee and milk together for a well-balanced medley of flavors.
Pour Over
There’s a reason people like traditional drip coffee, and a Pour Over is one of the best ways to prepare it. Yours will be made fresh at the time of order, and the final brew will showcase all of the beans’ flavors.
Iced Sunset Macchiato
Aptly named for the red hues that show as the sun goes down, the Iced Sunset Macchiato pairs coffee, your preferred milk and raspberry. While perhaps not a creation everyone would come up with, it’s surprisingly well done when poured over ice.
Nitro Cold Brew
The Nitro Cold Brew will deliver the fastest caffeine buzz, as it’s over-caffeinated and the nitrogen delivers that caffeine extra quickly. Top the drink off with cold foam for a smooth and creamy combination.
Boba Tea
For a non-coffee beverage, go with the Boba Tea. The most decadent and sweet tea option, the other teas are decent but don’t quite compare.
Insider Tips:
– The food options at Coffee Ave are limited, but it shares a food truck with a quinoa bowl eatery. Head right next door for something more substantial to eat.
– If you’re in the area for any length of time, ask for a punch card. After buying a few drinks for you and others, you’ll soon have enough marks for a free beverage.
– Don’t throw your cups in the garbage when you’re finished. All cups and straws here are fully compostable. Find a compost pile or recycling bin to put them in.
