Cape Trading Post in Cape San Blas is a modern take on the classic general store. Offering everything from pizza to toiletries to a fully-sticked liquor section, the Cape Trading Post truly has everything a vacationer tends to need when away from home. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and welcoming. It doesn’t try to be cute in a kitschy way, but a donut, coffee, and smoothie stand, souvenir section, and giant beach chair (Instagram opportunity if ever there was one) make it a fun stop.

Groceries and Drinks

They also stock an array of grocery items–so whether you’re grabbing a quick dinner, picking up milk and cereal for the beach house, or grabbing meat to grill on the beach, they’ve got you covered. You’ll also find a huge variety of drinks, from soft drinks to a fully-furnished liquor section.

Prepared Food

The pizza and deli items here take are surprisingly hot, fresh, and savory; a big step up from what you’d normally expect of a convenience store or grocery store fare. There are a few tables inside, but most people grab what they want and go. If the tables are taken, nearby parks make great picnic spots.
