The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Pensacola opened in 2015, bringing with it the flavors and feelings of nearby the Big Easy. Owners Erich and Jennifer opened the first Ruby Slipper Cafe in New Orleans in 2008, soon adding several other locations in the area. The couple chose Pensacola for the Ruby Slipper’s first location outside of Louisiana.

As soon as you step inside Ruby Slipper, you know you’re in a special place. Everything from the music to the decor to the vibe makes you feel like you’ve been transported to New Orleans. Our Ruby Slipper menu favorites include:

Chicken St. Charles
One of the most popular items on the menu, Chicken St. Charles is a killer combo. Flaky biscuits topped with perfectly seasoned fried chicken, two poached eggs, and a light tasso cream sauce. It just doesn’t get any tastier.

Bloody Mary
You can get a Bloody Mary at just about any bar, but The Ruby Slipper ups the ante. They use bacon-infused vodka to set their version of this brunch classic apart and add pickled green beans to make it truly unique.

Stuffed French Toast
Brioche bread is used to create a memorable French toast. The featured filling changes daily, but it’s always delicious!

Bam Bam Biscuit
It doesn’t get any more Southern than this. Pig candy (candied bacon, yum!), a fried green tomato, fried egg, and pepper jack cheese stack on a buttermilk biscuit. You’ll be talking about it for days.

There’s a reason The Ruby Slipper Cafe is one of the most popular places in Pensacola for breakfast or lunch. Big, bold flavors, signature drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere make this restaurant stand out from the crowd. Add this popular eatery to your must-visit list!
