On a recent trip to Shan Kishi, we had a little of everything, which really, is how we’d recommend experiencing a meal here. Shan Kishi’s tidy, elegant interior, with Japanese pagoda-inspired ceilings, sets the stage to enjoy dishes cooked and presented with artfulness and care.
In addition to sushi and hibachi (with a range of vegetarian, meat and seafood options available as a Single Item or Combination dinner), Shan Kishi offers teriyaki, noodle, and rice dishes as well standout appetizers like Pork Gyoza and deep-fried soft shell crab. All hibachi dinners include fried or white rice, a 2-piece shrimp appetizer, and hibachi vegetables, with a clear broth onion soup or hibachi noodles available for an additional charge. Younger diners are able to order from a children’s menu, which includes safe bets like chicken fingers alongside smaller portions of hibachi dishes. Tender and crispy on the outside, and full of flavor inside, these tasty dumplings started our meal off right.
Amazing Roll
A Chef’s Special roll that lived up to its name: bright spicy tuna inside topped with yellowtail & jalapeno, and a miso sauce & black tobiko to balance the heat perfectly in a savory, salty finish.
Filet Mignon Hibachi
This is a top seller among Shan Kishi’s hibachi options, and it was easy to see why. Melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked to perfection.
Shrimp Hibachi
The highlight of our meal: fresh, flavorful and fragrant with just the right amount of char. As enjoyable to watch it cooked before your eyes as it is to eat!
