Senor Frogs Panama City Beach opened up in March 2022 to big acclaim. We should note that Senor Frogs is a global brand. The very first of its locations opened in Mazatlan, Mexico back in 1989. Today, you can find Senor Frogs throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States — including two in Florida. Senor Frogs is best generally described as a Mexican-themed bar and grill. They prioritize creating a fun and cheerful atmosphere enjoyed by beach-visiting tourists and a menu full of flavorful Mexican-inspired dishes.
The Panama City Beach Senor Frogs has been very effective at living up to that reputation. This restaurant sits in a bright green and red building that is located right on the beach. Just a few blocks east of Pier Park and nestled between resorts. There is both an inside and outside dining area, although we recommend the outside if you go at any point during the day. That expansive back patio sweeps out overlooking the beach and the gorgeous waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You can opt to either sit comfortably beneath an overhang or enjoy coastal breezes in their ground-floor outdoor dining area.
While Senor Frogs Panama Beach is a great place to enjoy a tasty lunch in between beach adventures, this location is busiest during Happy Hour and dinner hours. During weekend afternoons and nights, Senor Frogs boasts live entertainment on the back patio. The attitude out here is definitely lively and party-esque. Making it a great place to go when you want to relax with a drink, but maybe a pass if you have a lot of young children.

Emerald Coast Reuben Sandwich Basket
This sandwich basket comes featuring a mouth-watering chunk of blackened Mahi-Mahi atop a toasted wheat bread bun. Toppings for this hefty fish sandwich include coleslaw, melted provolone, fried pickles, tomato, onions, and lettuce. As with all of Senor Frogs sandwiches, the Emerald Coast Reuben Sandwich Basket comes served with an order of crispy French fries.
Mardi Gras Pasta
Be careful with this one as it’s apt to send you straight into a blissful food coma! The Senor Frogs Mardi Gras Pasta comes as a hefty serving of penne pasta that has been tossed with sauteed scallops, shrimp, and crawfish smothered in their homemade Cajun cream sauce. While this seafood bundle is absolutely delightful, non-seafood lovers can enjoy that Cajun-seasoned sauce without the shellfish. Just ask for the grilled marinated chicken version instead.
Mexican Bowls
Senor Frogs is, after all, a Mexican restaurant foremost and you can’t go wrong ordering one of their chunky Mexican Bowls. Protein choices include chicken, carne asada, and carnitas, or you can opt for a full veggie bowl. Each bowl comes packed with rice, refried beans, a three-cheese shredded blend, Mexican rice, homemade guacamole, queso fresco, and the freshest of Pico de Gallo. Ranch dressing is also offered.

So the incorporated gratuity may come as a shock to some. The prices overall here trend higher than similar quality restaurants in the area, but you are getting quality views and a high dedication to service.
