Hang Five Beach Bar & Grill boasts the best views in town, no matter what seat you happen to find yourself in. Surrounded by the pristine waters of the Gulf and the white sands of the beach, this laid-back hot spot is the perfect place to stop for a cocktail and some hushpuppies. Come on Friday nights, and you’re in store for some live tunes, courtesy of the talented musicians of Panama City Beach.

Or maybe you’d prefer to try your hand at coconut bowling? Come by for Happy Hour on Thursdays for Hang Five Coconut Bowling with Chef Thomas and compete for prizes while you sip on a brew or two. This unique sport is definitely something that you’re going to want to share with your friend when you get home.

The menu of Hang Five Beach goes big on Southern home cooking. With dishes like gumbo, Mardi Gras pasta, and fried green tomatoes, we highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a taste of the Big Easy in Panama City Beach.

And of course, this bar offers plenty of local seafood favorites, like mahi-mahi and grouper. But if you’re looking for something else, this place has got you covered too. From paella to burgers to pretzel bites, you won’t have to compromise even when everyone in your group is in the mood for something different.

A trip to Hang Five Beach & Bar wouldn’t be complete without at least one of our top menu picks:

Blackened Mahi-Mahi Tacos
The salty intense crust of the mahi-mahi is offset by the cilantro-lime slaw and grilled street corn relish. Of course, the chipotle aioli ratchets the whole dish up another notch or two. Rich and refreshing all that the same time, these tacos are nothing short of divine after you’ve spent the whole day kicking your heels up in the waves.

Seafood Nachos
You have to hand it to a bar that leans into the quintessential snacks of their industry. These seafood nachos include shrimp, scallops, and crawfish, and are made epic by adding smashed avocado, queso blanco, and roasted tomato salsa. It’s nothing short of savory perfection!

Golf Coast Paella
This dish may have originally been a Spanish concoction, but there’s no reason for Panama City Beach not to put its own spin on it. With mussels, clams, sausage, crawfish, shrimp, and scallops (plus saffron rice), this loaded dish is hearty enough to satisfy even the biggest appetites.

Peel & Eat Shrimp
There are few things better than eating shrimp straight off the coast. Perfected with the richness of the cocktail sauce and the sharp tang of Voodoo mustard, these shrimp are served cold to cool you off from a day under the sun.

Loaded Potato Salad
Made with bacon and cheese, the potato salad has a lot of panache for a side dish. Thick and satisfying, you can order the potato salad with any of the handhelds from the menu. This includes hot dogs, tacos, and sandwiches.

Hang Five Beach Bar & Grill has managed to give people some truly unforgettable experiences. The sheer location alone is enough to justify a stop, even if you’re only staying for a drink and the sunset.
