Move over, major coffee chains. Paris Banh Mi offers up a cozy coffee shop atmosphere and a whole lot more–from Vietnamese coffee and boba tea to the classic bang pastries, pho, ramen, and more. This is the place to go for breakfast or a pick-me-up at any time of day, whether you want a hearty sandwich or something a little lighter.
When you walk in, expect a welcoming, immaculately clean storefront. Glass displays showcase the pastries of the day, which range from cheesecake to croissants. The interior manages to feel clean and minimalist without being austere or sterile; it’s a place that welcomes you to sit down and relax in comfort. Order at the walk-up counter, where staff, always smiling and friendly, will take your order and answer any questions you have (they get a lot, thanks to some of their not-as-familiar menu offerings).
Some of our favorite menu items at Paris Banh Mi include:
Banh Mi
Banh mi is a popular Vietnamese street food that blends traditional Vietnamese flavors in the shape of an American-style submarine sandwich. Choose from your favorite protein (a few different preparations of pork or chicken) and toppings, and enjoy the fusion of flavors on Paris Banh Mi’s freshly baked, pillowy bread. Banh mi can also be served on a croissant or burger if you’d prefer different bread options, but the original Banh mi bun is the fan favorite for its texture and flavor. In fact, the banh mi buns are so popular that they occasionally run out.
Boba Tea
Vietnamese boba tea has a distinctive flavor all its own, and Paris Banh Mi has a variety of flavors of milk teas, iced fruit teas, and juices served up with freshly prepared boba to order. Give their creme brulee milk tea a try; it’s hard to beat if you like a sweet, caramel milk tea. But they also offer a variety of light fruit teas, sweetened as much or as little as you’d prefer.
Slushes
It’s hard to beat a fresh slush on a hot day, especially when heading to or from the beach. Choose from eleven flavors of slush here, from peaches and cream to their popular Thai tea slush. The refreshment is hard to beat.
Burgers
If you want something a little more familiar than the specialty banh mi, you can always opt for a burger instead. They offer a range of burgers and topping options, and ingredients are consistently fresh and high-quality.
Location
Paris Banh Mi is located in Pier Park in Panama City Beach. It’s right beside the Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Insider Tips:
-Paris Banh Mi gets rather busy during breakfast and lunch hours, so prepare for a slightly longer wait at those times.
-Save room for dessert, whether it’s a pastry, a slush, or a boba tea.
