Grizzly Axes earns rave reviews time and time again because it’s so unapologetically fun. In a family-run business, you can expect friendly, prompt service from people who really love what they do. Never thrown an axe before? No worries! There’s always someone readily available to offer one-on-one tips and pointers, so first-time throwers have a great time successfully sinking the axe into the target.
Try your hand at double-throwing or grab a shovel or another implement to throw for good measure! Grizzly Axes is a popular spot for dates, families, and small groups who want to do something new and fun together. They serve snacks and draft beer, as well, so you can grab some grub and hang out for a while.
Some of the favorite activities at Grizzly Axes include:
Axe Throwing
By far the biggest draw, the axe-throwing space at Grizzly Axes is large, well-equipped, and fun. A pro will give you some safety instructions and throwing tips before you begin, and if you book with a group, you’ll get a throwing coach dedicated to your group the entire time. You might even try throwing two or three axes at a time–or broaden your outlook and try throwing a javelin or shovel.
Rage Room
Need to let off some steam? The Rage Room at Grizzly Axes is the ultimate catharsis. You can smash some glass bottles, break some old furniture, and otherwise let loose here. They’ve got it all–along with the protective equipment you need to make sure your rage doesn’t do your body any permanent damage.
Messy Murals Room
Create your own one-of-a-kind artwork on a canvas you’ll take home afterward. The Messy Murals Room encourages finger painting and the flinging of fluorescent paint to your heart’s content. You might not be the next Vincent Van Gogh, but you’ll come away with a fun, personality-filled piece of artwork… and who knows? Maybe you will be the next Vincent Van Gogh. Might as well give it a try.
Game Room
Not in the mood to fling paint or axes? The Game Room offers corn hole, a larger-than-life Connect 4 board, giant Jenga, darts, shuffleboard, and more… so kids and the young at heart will be able to find plenty to do.
Other games at Grizzly Axes include:
- Skee ball
- Giant Nintendo
- Switch Mega
- Putterball
- Pool Table
- Boxing Machine
- Basketball Machine
Grizzly Axes accepts reservations up to 3 hours in advance for groups of 6 or more. Otherwise, you can always walk in. Walk-ins are usually accommodated quickly; the facility is large and doesn’t usually hit peak capacity, though as might be expected, they’re busier on weekends and holidays.
