If you’re in Pensacola and are looking for a great way to spend an evening with the kids or for an entertaining way to escape a sudden rain forecast, then Cordova Lanes Bowling Center just might be exactly what you’ve been looking for. This popular family-friendly bowling alley takes a night at the lanes to a brand new level.
You’ll find Cordova Lanes Bowling Center conveniently located on Airport Road, just between the airport and the Cordova Mall. Such a spot makes it a great choice for a fun diversion if your flight has become delayed or you’re in need of some downtime after a busy day shopping or otherwise running around. Note that while this business does back right up to the Cordova Mall, there is a fence between the two properties. You’ll need to either walk around the block to enter from the mall or simply use the bowling lane’s own dedicated parking lot.
Cordova Bowling Center has over a dozen bowling lanes, all of which are well taken care of and feature comfortable seating. Advanced lane computers are outfitted at each lane. This makes it easy to input scores and enjoy both competitive and non-competitive games.
As with many bowling alleys, Cordova Lanes Bowling Center rents bowling gear like bowling balls and bowling shoes. However, if you find yourself really falling in love with this sport, you can also go for more upgraded products at the on-site bowling pro shop. This shop within the Cordova Lanes Bowling Center is called the Bowler’s Edge Pro Shop. This is a full-service pro shop led by experienced and friendly staff who are adept at helping their guests get all the repairs, purchases, and other desires for an optimum bowling experience.
There are also two other food and beverage-oriented shops located on-site at Cordova Lanes Bowling Alley: Mama Onnie’s and Shooters Sports Bar.
Mama Onnie’s offers your standard, and delicious, American grill fare. This includes pizzas, fried wings, burgers, fries, and more. When you order from Mama Onnie’s within Cordova Lanes, you can either enjoy eating within a nice seating area by this counter-serve restaurant, or you can take food back to tables that are available behind each bowling alley. Just be aware that food is not allowed down on the bowling floor itself to protect the wooden floors and other patrons.
Shooters Sports Bar is also on-site but is a place more geared toward adults. This business-within-the-business is set a bit apart from the bowling alley and offers a nice lounge area where patrons can enjoy a beer and a round of pool or darts. To enter the Shooters Sports Bar part of the bowling alley, you must be 21 or older.
