Red Fish Blue Fish is the go-to place for fresh seafood right along the waterfront. With a fresh selection of catches, a bar and plenty of outdoor seating, the casual atmosphere and great food appeal to everyone from families to couples on first (or fiftieth) dates.

Red Fish Blue Fish is known for its freshly caught seafood, plain and simple. The eatery works with four local purveyors, Flora Bama Farms of Pensacola, Bon Secour Fisheries, C & D Mill and Maria’s Fresh Seafood Market, to bring in new catches daily, and everything is served as fresh as possible. Aside from the ice in the icemaker, absolutely nothing is frozen because there isn’t even a freezer. (You’ll have to look elsewhere for post-dinner ice cream.)

Just as important as its passion for serving quality seafood, the restaurant is equally committed to making its foods accessible for all types of people. Decor like reclaimed wood planks from a former Coca-Cola factory create a casual yet pleasant atmosphere that’s perfect for just about every occasion. On any given night, you’ll find friends gathering at the bar, families dining in the indoor and outdoor dining areas, and couples admiring the views as the sunsets. Moreover, all facilities (including the bar and both dining area) are easily accessible via ADA-compliant passageways.

To make sure Red Fish Blue Fish is able to continue serving fresh seafood well into the future, the eatery is fully committed to environmental responsibility. Many of the walls are constructed from repurposed shipping containers, and solar panels provide the necessary power. The staff has also made a commitment to not offering straws, which have caused pollution in many of the world’s oceans and waterways.

A few of our menu favorites at Red Fish Blue Fish include:

Peel & Eat Gulf Shrimp
Sometimes fresh seafood is best kept simple. Shrimp straight from the Gulf and brought in at the dock, served to you in a classic way. Share, peel and enjoy!

Shrimp & Grits
Served Southern style, Shrimp & Grits combines the delicious and plump shrimp with a regional favorite. C+D Mills grits, andouille sausage, charred tomato and scallion are topped off with lime and arbol chili butter to bring this staple to new levels.

#RFBF Beach Platters
Can’t stay but want some great seafood on the go? Pick up an #RFBF Beach Platter with your choice of protein (fish, gulf shrimp or chicken), and head to the sand. The bento-style box includes sea salt fries, locally grown corn and a house coleslaw all in a convenient to-go package.

Fish Tacos
Enjoy your catch street-style with the Fish Tacos. A trio of flour tortillas is filled with the day’s catch, chipotle black garlic aioli and red cabbage that might just be the tastiest handheld food on the shore. For meat lovers, steak tacos are also available.

Blue Fish Bucket
Coconut rum is combined with pineapple, passion fruit, mango and banana rums, and then orange juice, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and blueberry-pomegranate pure is added. It’s all finished with some Sprite, and put into a 32-ounce bucket. Share with friends during sunset, and remember how good life can be.

Insider Tip:
Visit on a day when the weather’s nice enough to sit outside. There’s corn hole, giant checkers, and other games, along with fire pits and a wonderful view of the water.
