The Mellow Mushroom-Pensacola branch features the best pizza in all of Pensacola. Located on Bayou Boulevard, in the same parking lot as the AMC Bayou Movie Theater, this Mellow location is a favorite of tourists and locals alike. The food is excellent and the surrounding area with the Gulf breeze and Pensacola Beach makes it that much better!
Though their specialty is pizza, that is far from your only option when visiting Mellow. In fact, you can choose from a burger, Mellow salad, sandwich, calzone, hoagie, or more. Options include the Great White, with an olive and garlic base with sun-dried roasted tomatoes, authentic sheep’s milk feta cheese, provolone, fresh basil, seasoned ricotta, mozzarella, onions, and Roma tomatoes. The House Special features Mellow red sauce base and ground beef, sausage, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, onions, green peppers, bacon, and black olives. There are a variety of options to choose from among the sandwiches and hoagies. For example, the California Club, with grilled children, applewood smoked bacon, roasted tomatoes, avocado, and garlic aioli on a multigrain ciabatta is just one of the many options.
