Cafe Single Fin is a treasure hidden inside Pensacola’s Waterboyz Surf Shop: You’ll be dining here among surfboards and accessories, which only enhances the all-around beach-bum atmosphere. Don’t be dismayed by the location: There’s quite a lot of seating here, from up at the counter to quite a few tables.

The impressively diverse menu emphasizes healthy and wholesome ingredients and lots of vegan-friendly options, but awesome flavors and plenty of comfort-food plates make Cafe Single Fin a good dining destination for just about anybody.

There’s all-day breakfast on hand with all kinds of options: French toast, waffles, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, omelets, scrambles, oatmeal, parfaits, and more.

Lunch and dinner entrees, meanwhile, cover similarly expansive territory, with an array of sandwiches and wraps, some great tacos, veggie burgers, acai bowls, quesadillas, and salads on offer. Appetizers include chips and salsa, hummus and pita, rice and beans, homemade mac-and-cheese, nachos, and more.

You’ve also got a massive list of drinks to choose from, including a bevy of coffee drinks, caffeinated and non-caffeinated teas, artisanal sodas, smoothies, hot chocolate, kombuchas, and a nice lineup of bottled craft beers.

Open seven days a week, Cafe Single Fin hosts Sunday brunch and runs extended hours Friday night for its super-fun open mic.

Here are some standouts on the Cafe Single Fin menu:

Mahi Tacos
Blackened mahi-mahi is the star of the show in this taco, which also includes black beans, spring lettuce, mixed cheese, cilantro-lime cream, and pico de gallo. You can order one, two, or three Mahi tacos, and there’s a good chance you’re going to go with the full trio.

Acai Bowls
Among many vegan options at Cafe Single Fin, the acai bowls are some of the most popular. There are four options: the Ala Moana, the Pavones, the Kona, and the Starfish, and it’s worth trying ‘em all.

Costa Wrap
A Cafe Single Fin breakfast of the Costa Wrap—a burrito chock-full of scrambled eggs, bacon, black beans, yellow rice, mixed cheese, and avocado with salsa on the side—is going to get your day off to the right foot.

Bottomless Brunch Mimosas
That’s right: a definite highlight of the Cafe Single Fin brunch is the bottomless mimosa, a tropically tinted version with pineapple and orange juice.

Morning till evening, Cafe Single Fin is a great place to bring your appetite in Pensacola—and maybe you can combine your meal with a bit of surfboard or skateboard shopping, too.

Insider Tip:
The vegan options at Cafe Single Fin aren’t restricted to the labeled vegan dishes: You can ask about having others converted to a vegan version.
