Los Antojitos, which means “the snacks”- is a PCB favorite for Mexican food in a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere. Located on the shore of Lake Ware, live music Wednesday through Saturday keeps things exciting with great tunes and views. A full bar both inside and out serves out top-notch margaritas, mojitos, beer, and other standards. The cuisine leans more toward Tex-Mex than authentic Mexican. Los Antojitos offers some of the best steaks we’ve found in PCB, and that’s saying something. The Sirloin Steak is a great choice, cooked to order each time. It’s well-seasoned, tender, and served with a huge variety of sides that make it an ideal choice for steak lovers. Steaks are priced remarkably low here by PCB standards.
Myntalina’s Burrito
Touted as “the wife’s favorite,” Myntalina’s Burrito is jam-packed with Tex-Mex goodness. Grilled sirloin or shredded chicken, sauteed peppers and onions, sour cream, and a blend of shredded cheeses. All of this is wrapped in a big, fresh flour tortilla and smothered with chile con queso. Every bite is surprisingly well-balanced, it is the perfect blend of spicy-savory and creamy, thanks to the sour cream and queso.
Shrimp Fajitas
There’s something refreshing and filling about shrimp fajitas after a long day of vacationing. Los Antojitos offers some of the best shrimp fajitas you’ll find in the area. Fresh, lightly sauteed peppers and onions perfectly complement the beautifully seasoned shrimp stir-fry. The skillet is served with all the extras, from guac to pico, rice and beans, and fresh tortillas.
Apple Cheesecake Chimichanga
It sounds ridiculous, but it’s to die for. The apple cheesecake chimi consists of creamy cheesecake, and green apples wrapped in a fresh flour tortilla, fried until golden-crisp, dusted with cinnamon sugar, then served with vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle. Los Antojitos suggests ordering dessert first, and you might want to take them up on that suggestion because this one is a must-try.
