Los Antojitos is a PCB favorite for Mexican food in a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere. Located on the shore of Lake Ware, a back deck featuring live music Wednesday-Saturday nights keeps things exciting with great tunes and views of the surrounding area. A full bar both inside and out serve out top-notch margaritas, mojitos, beer, and other standards. The cuisine leans more toward Tex-Mex than authentic Mexican, and you might be surprised to find some of PCB’s best steaks right here.
In addition to Mexican staples, you’ll also find catch-of-the-day dishes and seafood favorites, like shrimp fajitas and mahi-mahi plates that’ll keep you coming back for more. Some of our menu favorites include:
Los Antojitos offers some of the best steaks we’ve found in PCB, and that’s saying something. The Sirloin Steak is a natural choice; it’s cooked perfectly to order each time, well-seasoned and tender, and offered up with a huge variety of sides that make it a natural choice for steak lovers. The steaks here are priced remarkably low, too, by PCB standards; a 9 oz. sirloin dinner runs less than $20 at the time of this writing.
There’s something refreshing and filling about shrimp fajitas after a long day of vacationing, and Los Antojitos offers some of the best shrimp fajitas you’ll find in the area. Fresh, lightly sauteed peppers and onions perfectly complement the beautifully-seasoned shrimp stir-fry, and the skillet is served with all the extras, from guac to pico, rice and beans, and fresh tortillas.
Touted as “the wife’s favorite,” Myntalina’s Burrito is jam-packed with goodness: grilled sirloin or shredded chicken, sauteed peppers and onions, sour cream, and a blend of shredded cheeses–all wrapped in a big, fresh flour tortilla and smothered with chile con queso. Every bite is surprisingly well-balanced, the perfect blend of spicy-savory and creamy, thanks to the sour cream and queso.
Apple Cheesecake Chimichanga
It sounds ridiculous, but it’s to die for. The apple cheesecake chimi consists of creamy cheesecake, and green apples wrapped in a fresh flour tortilla, fried until golden-crisp, dusted with cinnamon sugar, then served with vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle. The menu suggests ordering dessert first, and you might want to take them up on that suggestion because this one is a must-try.
You’ll also find a huge variety of a la carte options on the menu, from seafood tacos to dips, chips, and sides that beautifully complement appetizer platters or each other.
– Check the daily specials before you go or ask at the door; each day of the workweek, Los Antojitos offers a great special, from Taco Tuesdays to Steak Thursdays.
