UFO’s Mini Golf and Ice Cream harkens back to the 1980s when residents were certain that Pensacola Beach was regularly visited by extraterrestrial tourists. The alien-theme mini-golf and ice cream parlor offers family-friendly fun for those times when you’re not on the water or sand.
The mini-golf course at UFO’s Mini Golf and Ice Cream is only a few years old, and it’s perfect for family members of all ages. The course meanders around a bond, along a stream and over plenty of waterfalls, but no one hole is too difficult for even a young mini golfer to manage. At almost every turn, you’ll find aliens watching you play, putting themselves, sunbathing and even fishing in the water. The scenic setting and game are perfect for family fun,
After your game, check out the ice cream parlor that offers a range of both food and ice cream options for everyone who completes (or doesn’t complete) the course. Younger players can choose from hot dogs, ice creams, floats, Italian sodas, milkshakes and sodas. Older players over 21 have access to all of those, plus beer, wine and adult float options. The Milky Way is particularly otherworldly.
Prices for mini-golf here are $13 for adults and $10 for children. Children under age 4 are free.
Pensacola Beach is full of fun in the waves and sand, but there are some times when you feel like doing something different with the group. At those times, head to UFO’s Mini-Golf and Ice Cream for good times that everyone will enjoy. Winner buys the ice cream treats afterward!
A few of our favorite menu items at UFO’s Mini Golf and Ice Cream include:
Guacamole Dog
When the toppings on a hot dog are as big as the meat itself, you know the meal is going to be good. Topped off with cheese, bacon, guacamole, sour cream and special sauce, this is one hot dog that’s loaded with goodness. Add jalapenos if you’d like to spice it up a bit.
Dippin Dots
What better ice cream is there to have at a UFO ice cream stand than the “ice cream of the future?” Dippin Dots is flash-frozen, and perfect for enjoying on a Florida beach or at the farthest reaches of outer space.
Shockwave
How do you make ice cream better? Add beer. How can you make beer better? Add ice cream. The Shockwave will send shockwaves through you as the Shock Top, orange sherbert and vanilla ice cream combine for a creamsicle unlike any you’ve had before.
The Milky Way
The Milky Way combines your grandpa’s favorite butter pecan ice cream with Hawaiian Lion toasted coconut coffee porter. If you always turned up your nose at the old-fashioned flavor, this combo will have you reconsidering how good classics can be.
Insider Tips:
Want to cool off after your game of mini-golf? Ice cream is great, but there’s also access to a pool next door. If you’re looking for a place to take a quick dunk, you’re welcome to for free after coming here. It’s an especially good spot to wash off any beach sand or sea salt that might remain from earlier fun on the shore.
