The Gulf Breeze Zoo provides an opportunity for your family to take a nostalgic, 15-minute narrated trip on their newly renovated CP Huntington-style locomotive. At over 50 acres the train does not travel through the entire zoo but provides a fun and interesting trip. Young visitors especially will appreciate waving hello to the hippos from their seats aboard the train.
The boardwalk at the zoo allows visitors to watch herds of antelope, deer, zebra, and rhino. The elevated walkway provides a great view of the gorillas on their island habitats and the free-range preserve. This is a fence-free experience that provides an exceptional opportunity for photography.

The animals aren’t the only ones who will want to feed while at the Gulf Breeze Zoo. That’s why the Watering Hole is open for human visitors daily from 10 am to 4 pm. The menu features family-friendly foods like Angus cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, pizzas, Nathans all-beef hot dogs, and a selection of kid’s meals. The Gulf Breeze Zoo also has a variety of refreshing treats like Icees, sno-cones, Dippin’ Dots, ice cream treats, and others.
You may want to grab a souvenir from your visit at the Gift Shop located near the main entrance. Choose from a wide selection of stuffed animal toys, t-shirts, cups, and zoo-branded memorabilia. It’s a nice way to remember your visit.
