Located on Garden Street in Pensacola, Cypress Pensacola is an elegant, yet casual Downtown eatery that specializes in locally inspired coastal cuisine. They offer a seasonal menu that stays in harmony with what’s available in the Gulf Coast at the time, and from delicious entrees to refined cocktails, everything is locally-sourced. 

Founded by two couples from New Orleans, the Cypress focuses on offered a farm to table approach with their dishes. The food has a bit of New Orleans seasoning to go with the local coastal dishes, and the restaurant is run with a touch of Southern New Orleans hospitality. Housed in the beautiful, history Premier Bakery building, the restaurant also brings a touch of history in the charming, historic building on Garden Street. 

The chefs take great pride in the dishes created, and it shows. Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation is always flawless. Even the condiments available are house-made and delicious. The Cypress offers excellent service, too, providing a relaxing vibe that makes everyone feel at home.

Wagyu Beef Tomato
Featuring a thin Wagyu filet along with shallots pickled in champagne vinegar, tomato, crispy leeks, capers, toast points, and sea salt.

Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli
Includes a four-ounce Maine lobster tail along with local Gulf shrimp, hand-formed, bicolor ravioli, asparagus, brandy cream sauce, and braised tomatoes 

Pan-Seared Scallops
Delicious jumbo scallops, pan-seared, along with grapefruit supremes, creamy polenta, English pea puree, salsa negra, and chimichurri

Shrimp Etouffée
Wild-caught Gulf shrimp, trinity, hot sauce, dark roux, Carolina Gold Rice, and garlic

For dessert lovers, this features German Chocolate pecan pie, brown butter bourbon pecan ice cream, a tuile cookie, and bourbon caramel sauce. 

Along with a variety of tempting small plates, dinner entrees, and even brunch items, the Cypress also offers a large selection of refined cocktails and wines. The restaurant features different wines throughout the week, with glass prices available as well as excellent pairings available. Discounted bottles are also offered. – Be aware when you plan your visit to the Cypress Pensacola that the restaurant is no longer serving lunch, although brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays.
