*Note: Not all tours are currently available, as one of Sea Screamer’s boats was damaged during Hurricane Michael. The company hopes to have both boats up and running in the near future.*
If you adore dolphins and other creatures of the sea, you’ll love everything about your Sea Screamer tour. Although not as intimate as some of the other boat tours offered in the Panama City Beach area, Sea Screamer’s escapades are thoroughly enjoyable.
Clean restroom facilities are available below deck, so you don’t need to worry about making it over two hours without a bathroom break. Feel free to grab beer, wine, cocktails, or tasty snacks, which the company has conveniently made available for purchase. All foods and beverages served aboard are reasonably priced.
Determined to show you a good time, your captain will crack jokes while exposing you to some of the best views the Panama City Beach area has to offer. Your captain knows exactly where the dolphins hang out, so you can expect to see at least a few up close. Along the way, you’ll learn not only about dolphins, but also about a variety of other aquatic animals and Panama City Beach highlights.
A few of our favorite excursions include the following:
Dolphin Cruises
Sea Screamer’s dolphin cruises are far more relaxing than the company’s name suggests. Kick back and take it all in as your guide brings you to some of the best dolphin viewing spots in the region. During your two-hour trip, you’ll see dolphins riding the waves and interacting with one another. You’ll come away with beautiful photos and a whole new appreciation for the Gulf’s aquatic environment.
Sunset Cruises
Hit the water in the evening to see the sunset from a truly remarkable vantage point. This is a great option for date night; although your trip won’t exactly be private, you’ll find yourself surrounded by many other couples looking to make the most of the region’s natural beauty. Sunset cruises typically depart between 5:00 and 6:30 pm, although this varies based on the time of year. Cruises depart later as the days grow longer. Like Sea Screamer’s dolphin cruises, all sunset cruises last two hours. Two for one? You can also see dolphins during these sunset cruises!
All of Sea Screamer’s trips are designed to awaken your sense of childlike wonder as you witness the beauty of the Gulf. If enthusiastic visitors are to be believed, you will thank yourself repeatedly for setting aside time to explore the waters that surround Panama City Beach.
