Panama City Parasail is a family-owned and operated parasailing company located in Panama City Beach, Florida. Located right on the beach between Sunrise Condo and Wyndham Resort, the convenient, beachfront location makes it easy to add this adventure to your time spent beachside. Captain Jim and Vicky Holloway operate the establishment, and the Captain is USCG Certified and boasts an impressive 30 years of experience parasailing on the beach.
At Panama City Parasail, you have the chance to enjoy a safe and exciting experience – sailing high over the Gulf of Mexico. No matter your age or experience, they’ll work hard to accommodate everyone. While you have the ability to simply enjoy cruising the skies, taking in the serenity that comes with being high above the water, you may also want to dip your toes into the lovely emerald green waters of the Gulf or even be a bit of a daredevil and take a free-fall, simulating the feel of a parachute drop. The best part is that it’s all up to you.
The boating and parasailing adventures last for a little longer than an hour, with each boat holding up to six passengers. Passengers get to take turns going up in the sky, flying just two or three at one time. Observers who don’t want to go parasailing can also go along to watch for a fee if space is available. Along with the stunning, panoramic views of the Emerald Coast and Panama City Beach, you can expect to see tour boats, fishing boats, sea turtles, dolphins, and perhaps even some stingrays on occasion.
Once you arrive at Panama City Parasail, you’ll be taken on a Zodiac out to your parasailing boat. Then your captain will take you out to the Gulf of Mexico where your parasailing adventure will begin. The seasoned captain ensures you get a slow, gentle takeoff, so it’s not scary at all. Instead, most people note that parasailing is thrilling, peaceful, and serene. While it’s a great idea to wear a swimsuit – after all, it is a water activity – you get to decide if you get wet or stay dry on your parasailing adventure. Simply let the captain know your wishes.
