Escape rooms just may be the hottest trend in the world of entertainment at the moment. Whether or not you’re an accomplished pro at conquering escape rooms or you’re a complete novice who’s never so much as ventured into one, you can look forward to plenty of excitement and thrills at Escape the Room PCB.
Currently, Escape the Room PCB offers your choice of three escape room adventures: Lost Jewel of Zanzibar; Blackbeard’s Brig; and Lucky Duck Speakeasy. These vary in terms of difficulty level. To learn more about each room, visit Escape the Room’s website. Also, keep in mind that escape rooms do periodically change up their adventures. This means that if you previously visited Escape the Room PCB, an entirely new selection of themed rooms may now be available.
If you’ve never done an escape room before, it can initially be intimidating. However, fun is the operating word when it comes to escape rooms. For starters, you’re never actually locked in a room. Rather, the goal is to work together with your group to complete a mission during the designated time period of one hour. To do so, you will be challenged to find clues, solve puzzles, and decipher codes. (If you or a member of the group has to leave the room, you are free to do so but the clock will not stop running.)
Recommended for ages eight and up, Escape the Room offers plenty of fun for both the young and young at heart. In fact, kids often offer different perspectives that turn up clues that adults miss. Plus, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to hone their problem-solving and teamwork skills in the process. Because Escape the Room PCB is designed with families in mind, none of the rooms are scary.
Escape the Room is also suitable for participants of all abilities. There is a Game Master watching and listening via video and audio throughout your adventure. If you get stumped, this guide is at the ready with a clue. This helps keep things moving along.
You should know that Escape the Room PCB’s rooms are completely booked with six to eight people, depending on the adventure you choose. If you have a party of three, this means there will likely be five other people joining in your adventure. While this may initially seem off-putting, strangers quickly become teammates while working together to escape. Plus, the more people who participate, the greater your odds are of succeeding. If you do prefer to work just with your own party, it is possible to reserve the whole room.
Insider Tips:
– It’s easy to get carried away by excitement during an escape room adventure. Keep in mind that props will ever need to be forced open. Additionally, some items in the room may not be part of the game. (They’ll be labeled as such.) If you break something accidentally, you will have to pay for it.
– We all love a good selfie now and then, but pictures and videos aren’t allowed while you’re in a room to help keep the mystery up for others. If you’re seen using your camera, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
– Plan on arriving 15 minutes early. If you arrive after the game has started, you will not be allowed to enter; nor will you get a refund.
– No food or drink is allowed inside the gaming rooms. Don’t go to Escape the Room on an empty stomach, and plan on feeding children in advance to keep hungry tummies from spoiling the fun.
