Tropic Isle 805 - Gulf Shores Condo

We were greeted by the overwhelming smell of rotting garbage upon entering the property. The trash cans were empty, and we could not identify the source but the smell lingered. We ended up purchasing and using an entire can of febreeze to make it tolerable. The location and the view were great, but as others mentioned the lack of any real furniture on the balcony was a huge disappointment. The main bed was uncomfortable but tolerable and the furniture overall was dirty and somewhat tired. The kitchen was well-stocked. The Keurig was a huge plus but the refrigerator also had a smell and the doors were rusted. We received a parking/tow warning on our vehicle despite the parking tag CLEARLY visible on the dash/windshield. Communication from the management company was poor, initial message went unanswered and not being able to contact anyone "after hours" when problems would arise was a huge downside. The unit has great potential but due to the aforementioned issues we will not be staying here again.

The location was perfect. The unit was spacious and clean. Staff responds to requests quickly. Will book this unit again.

We came to Gulf Shores for a beach volleyball tournament, so being close to the courts (located near The Hangout) was important. The condo was very convenient and located close to everything. It was an easy walk to all shops, restaurants, and volleyball. It had everything we needed during our stay.

We had rented several different units here for the same week to accommodate our family. This unit is very outdated. The view is beautiful but was a little disappointed in the unit itself. Other than that, we had a great vacation. Will definitely be back as we come every year, I will make sure not to rent this unit again.

Condo was beautifully furnished, clean, and fit our family of 4 perfectly. We will definitely stay here again!

Had a great weekend escape to a perfect beach getaway in this vacation rental! Nestled along the sandy shores, the property offered utmost convenience, with numerous attractions and amenities just a stone's throw away. Some breathtaking gulf views from the comfort of this top floor unit.

Condo was in walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Condo was clean and comfortable. Water was hot in the showers very fast. Biggest complaint was I had to rearrange cabinets to have room for the food items we brought and I didn’t realize there were no potholders to take hot dishes out of the oven. Loved having a washer and dryer in the condo. Property management was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice location. Have been coming to this condo for over 10 years. Last 2 times we have been here the floors were not cleaned. The cleaning crew runs a mop over it very fast and they call that clean. We had maintenance come to spray for ants and asked to have floor cleaned. We also asked to have food cleaned off wall. Food was still on wall when we left end of vacation. Walked the length of condo a couple of times after they came back and cleaned floor again and ended up with very dirty feet. We have recommended this property to friends but will not do so again!

Loved the check in/check out efficiency! Condo was nicely furnished. Enjoyed the balcony. Would be nice to have a small table on the balcony. The location is great-so convenient. Would stay again.

We loved the unit and the balcony on the corner! The only problem we encountered was low or no water pressure most of the stay. There was a big festival two hotels down at Hangout the weekend after we left and everyone in our condo was experiencing no water pressure which caused issues with flushing the commodes and taking showers. Other than that we would come back to this unit!
