Date night options abound throughout Miramar Beach, but few are as interesting or as enticing as Vin’tij Food & Wine. This award-winning restaurant may boast over two decades of experience serving the Emerald Coast, but its menu and atmosphere remain as fresh as ever.
The unique menu at Vin’tij includes a variety of inspired dishes that integrate fresh ingredients and appealing flavors, some of which you’ve never realized could blend so well. Many meals are hearty, yet healthy; you’ll leave feeling completely satisfied without letting guilt about your diet kick in. Of course, if you wish to treat yourself, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for doing just that.
Stop in on a Saturday or Sunday morning for breakfast, which is only served during the weekend. Don’t worry if you feel the need to sleep in; the weekend breakfast menu is available until 3 pm. Otherwise, you’ll find plenty of delicious entrees on the lunch and dinner menus.
Don’t worry about dietary restrictions; the restaurant serves several vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes. Additionally, all sandwiches on the menu can be modified to include gluten-free buns for a small additional charge.
No meal at Vin’tij is complete without a glass of wine. The selection is both vast and impressive. The servers are happy to provide suggestions to go with your meal. Otherwise, if you struggle to settle on just one wine, you’re welcome to order a flight.
Wine might be in the restaurant’s name, but a variety of other beverages are also available. Most notably, you’ll find a vast selection of smoothies featuring healthy ingredients that will quickly have you feeling energized. If you prefer to enjoy alcohol with your meal but aren’t in the mood for wine, feel free to check out the beer menu. No matter what you drink, you’ll appreciate the pleasant, uplifting ambiance.
A few of our favorite menu items include the following:
One of two gluten-free items available on the Vin’tij breakfast menu, this flavorful dish features pork carnitas, fried egg, tomato, and hominy, served with pico de gallo and queso fresco.
This is not quite like any BLT you’ve ever ordered. It includes essentials such as tomatoes and applewood bacon, as well as fresh greens and delicious remoulade. Your sandwich is served with mixed greens and your choice of pasta salad or fries.
Vegan Lucky Bowl
A go-to for vegan eaters in a seafood-dominant region, this dish includes a hearty mix of cauliflower, garlic green beans, potatoes, mushrooms, shishito peppers, tomatoes, and citrus arugula, served with garlic chips over an Asian-inspired quinoa stir-fry. If you’re a devoted carnivore, you’re welcome to add shrimp, scallops, oysters, or chicken.
Shrimp and Grits
Shrimp and grits are a Florida favorite, but Vin’tij elevates the recipe with new elements. You’ll quickly fall in love with the parmesan grits, which are served with andouille, plum tomatoes, and delectable lemon butter. Amp up the meal with the optional addition of a fried egg.
Cumin Seared Tuna
The blend of ingredients in this dish may seem unusual at first glance, but you’ll ultimately enjoy the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. Your seared tuna comes with black beans, watermelon salsa, sriracha sour cream, and a crisp tortilla.
Culinary boredom does not exist at Vin’tij, where each meal offers its own unique twist. Embrace your adventurous side and try something new. You’ll discover fresh and enticing flavors with every bite.
– After your meal, set aside a moment or two to browse Vin’tij’s boutique. There, you’ll find a vast selection of quality wines, which allow you to bring a bit of your Vin’tij experience home with you. This is a great opportunity to stock your wine cellar or find a gift for a friend.
– Vin’tij occasionally hosts wine dinners featuring special guests and unique dishes paired with the restaurant’s finest wines. Keep an eye on the official Facebook page to learn more about upcoming events.
