The Craft Bar is a regionally focused gastropub that serves up fine beers, cocktails, and foods. Many of the bar’s selections are regionally sourced, and those that come from afar are often hard-to-source premium offerings you won’t find elsewhere in the Northwest Florida region.
The beer selection at The Craft Bar is perhaps the least regionally focused of all the menu selections, simply because there are a limited number of breweries in the immediate Emerald Coast area. While several regional breweries are available, you’ll also find other microbrew selections from around the country on tap. At any given time, there are 30 draft selections in total.
If you prefer an adult beverage that doesn’t have a foam head, the cocktail offerings are just as impressive as the draft list. Selections vary seasonally depending on what fresh regional ingredients are available, but the skilled bartenders are always coming up with new combinations that entice and delight the palate.
Food options feature traditional pub fare that’s far from usual pub quality. Everything’s made from scratch using local ingredients wherever possible, and the dishes have an artisan twist. You’ll find common selections, like burgers, fish and chips, and salads, but their taste will make you forget you’re eating in a bar.
With pub offerings made for foodies, The Craft Bar will please even the most discerning tastes. Bring a date, friends or the family (there’s a kid’s menu), and enjoy some regionally sourced drinks and foods in a laid-back atmosphere.
A few of our menu favorites at The Craft Bar include:
Any Draft Beer
There’s not a bad choice on the list of drafts. Selections vary as kegs are rotated in and out, but you’ll have no problem finding one you like. If you need a little guidance, just ask.
Any House Cocktail
Similarly, any of the house-made cocktails are a delight if you’re into less-bready adult beverages. Ask what the current seasonal offerings are, and try whatever sounds good.
Craft Bar Mac & Cheese
Gooey sharp cheddar, gruyere and macaroni on the inside. A crust infused with smoked applewood bacon on the outside. Goodness all around.
Fish & Chips
A pub classic, beer-battered grouper straight from the Gulf is accompanied by house-made fries and spicy ketchup. Of course, there’s malt vinegar aioli served on the side.
Pimento Burger
This unique creation updates a beloved but old-fashioned sandwich. Rather than slathering pimento cheese between two slices of bread, it’s put on top of a half-pound local beef pattie and topped with applewood smoked bacon. The whole thing is stacked between two halves of a brioche bun for easy handling when eating. Fries and spicy mayo come on the side.
Insider Tips:
-Ask your server for a sample of any beer you’re interested in but unsure about. You’re welcome to try a few before deciding, in order to make sure you find the perfect one.
-Did you find a beer you like and want to take home? Pick up a “growler” on your way out. Unlike traditional growlers, these are 32-ounce cans so you can easily take them home or to the beach (where alcohol is permitted).
