FUBAR Pizza Bar is a family-friendly sports bar that’s a bit of a playground for kids and adults alike. It’s a casual place to order a pie (and a side of wings), watch the game, and play a round or two of pool afterward. Everyone is welcome here, particularly if you’re enjoying the view of Fort Walton Beach from the big blue beyond. FUBAR Pizza Bar is located right on the dock and the staff makes it easy for the many watercraft in the area to pull up and grab some grub.
The menu at FUBAR Pizza Bar runs the gamut, featuring everything from tacos to chicken parmesan. However, they’re best known for their inventive pizzas and tantalizing wings. We highly recommend this spot if you’re coming with a large group. The outside deck alone can hold hundreds of people, so there should be plenty of space no matter how big your party is. If you get bored waiting for your food or just want something to do while the game is still going, you can play a game of pool, cornhole, or darts. There are also enough games for kids to keep them entertained.
If you stop by FUBAR Pizza Bar, try the following dishes:
Meatball Pizza
The meatball pizza is everything you love about Italian cuisine, all in one. Thick meat sauce, ricotta, meatballs, green peppers, onions, and mozzarella cheese are all piled on top of a crusty base. The pizzas at FUBAR Pizza Bar are available in several types of crust: thin, hand-tossed, or cauliflower (for an additional charge).
Bacon Jalapeno Tater Bombs
If you love tater tots, it might be time to try them in the form of a flavor bomb. These giant stuffed masterpieces come in several flavors and dipping sauces, but we have to recommend this version for its smoked bacon, pepper jack, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. All the creaminess manages to offset the spice and smoke of the famous peppers perfectly.
Breaded Pickle Fries
A bit of a twist on the classic Southern staple, these easy-to-eat fried miracles are served alongside the restaurant’s homemade Ranch. The tang of the pickles mixed with the creamy rich dressing is enough to give you a new definition of what fries can be.
Taco Pizza
When you’re hungry for a pie that’s messy and packed with all of your favorite Tex-Mex toppings, the taco pizza from FUBAR Pizza Bar does not disappoint. The sauce is either refried beans or nacho cheese, and then it all comes topped with seasoned ground beef, onions, a blend of shredded mix and mozzarella, plus black olives, lettuce, and tomatoes.
Pulled Pork
The pulled pork at FUBAR Pizza Bar is slow-roasted for a full half day, so it’s tender and delicious. The chefs use charcoal to infuse an earthy taste into every bite. The meal is completed by two sides, garlic toast, plus your choice of sauce on the side (original BBQ, white vinegar BBQ, or Carolina Gold).
FUBAR Pizza Bar isn’t just a place where you can grab some lunch or dinner and go. The games you end up playing there, whether it’s an arcade game or darts, could end up being some of the most memorable parts of your vacation. While it might not be the fanciest place to go, it’s definitely a spot where you can let your hair down.
