Located in the newly planned community of WaterSound, Ambrosia 30A Prime Seafood & Steaks offers an excellent upscale, white tablecloth dining experience. This is a great place to go if you’re looking to get away from the crowds more directly along the coast.
You will find Ambrosia 30A Prime Seafood & Steaks just outside of the community’s town center (also called The Hub) on Side Camp Road. All of the buildings here feature an architectural style that combines the colors and shapes of European sea towns with more modern American accents, and this restaurant is no different. It sits in a large two-floor building with massive windows and an extended outdoor patio.
Step inside and you’ll find yourself immersed in an atmosphere of coastal elegance. This is a full white tablecloth restaurant and we mean that both literally and in the sense that this is an upscale, fine dining restaurant. Table options here include full standalone tables with plush seats and two styles of booth tables, one featuring standard booth materials and also a row of more luxurious couch-styled seating. There is also a long bar where about two dozen diners can sit.
Ambrosia 30A Prime Seafood & Steaks is open every night for dinner service starting at 4 p.m. Both their back-of-house and front-of-house teams excel at what they do, offering incredibly delicious items that are brought to your table with top-tier service. This location has a full bar and wine room, and their knowledgeable staff both behind the bar and at your table are ready to offer the best recommendations for pairing and to meet general taste preferences. As you might expect, this superb service and premier entrees do come at a cost. Ambrosia 30A Prime Seafood & Steaks is one of the more expensive restaurants located in this part of 30A.
But while you will have to dig deeper in your wallet for a dining experience at Ambrosia 30A Prime Seafood & Steaks, we’re pretty sure you’ll find it worth it. Popular and memorable entrees at this location include:
Cowboy Ribeye
This is a rich 24 oz cut of highly marbled beef that is served bone-in style. The ribeye is served to your temperature and has been called the best ribeye in the state.
Surf & Turf
This massive entree features filet medallions, twin Maine lobster tails, two Gulf shrimp, and one Diver scallop served on a bed of asparagus with Hollandaise sauce.
Whichever entree you choose, make sure to leave room for dessert as Ambrosia 30A Prime Seafood & Steaks lives up to that first part of its name by making its own heavily sweet treats. A few of the best include their classic Key Lime Pie and decadent Chocolate Lava Cake.
Note that given this restaurant’s higher pricepoint and more upscale atmosphere combined with the fact that they do not have a children’s menu, this generally is not a good choice for family dining with young children. It is, however, a great choice for a romantic evening, celebratory event, or for those otherwise looking for a relaxed fine dining experience.
