Condor Sailing Adventures offers a variety of day and evening sailing excursions on the waters surrounding Pensacola. All outings are fun and memorable because the boat holds no more than six (plus Captain Kirk), making the excursions perfect for families, small groups of friends and close couples.

The boat sailed is an uncommon Condor 40 trimaran, which stands out for both its rarity and overall design. There were only twenty-one Condor 40s ever built, and they were made for the specific purpose of racing — including racing around the world solo. As a result, the vessel is both incredibly fast and incredibly stable.

Top speeds during races can reach 45 miles an hour, and yet onboard motion is incredibly limited. The design was intended to survive 40- and 50-foot waves, which makes remaining stable during normal sailing conditions easy.

Onboard, there are two decks that offer plenty of seats and room to move around. Passengers can sit back and relax, converse among themselves or with Captain Kirk, or steer the boat when conditions allow. Captain Kirk is regularly pointing out attractions, porpoise sightings and other items of interest.

Tour options range from standard day tours around the waters nearby to special Blue Angel and dinner cruises. Moonlight and special date cruises are also offered periodically, and passengers booking the whole boat can talk with Captain Kirk about custom itineraries. Prices vary, but they’re affordable considering the experiences each option offers.

Condor Sailing Adventures offers a sailing experience that few outfits around the world can match. The fast and stable boat makes these excursions perfect for your family, and the small party size offers opportunities for more intimate gatherings with a special someone.

A few of our favorite tour highlights include:

Magical Moonlight Cruise
Set sail just before sunset, and return two hours later by moonlight. You’ll enjoy the sunset’s afterglow and be able to watch the moon rise as you relax on the water.

Mornings with the Blue Angels
Enjoy a leisurely morning sailing on the Pensacola Bay as the world-famous Blue Angels fly overhead. You’ll sail just off the naval base as they rehearse their movements and configurations.

The Ultimate Romantic Sunset Cruise
Book a private sunset cruise with your sweetheart, and enjoy the sound of the water as daylight dims. A guitarist and a violinist will serenade you two throughout the sail. Make sure to give them your others’ favorites songs as special requests.

Private Cruise
Customize a cruise to your liking. Simply book the boat, and talk with Captain Kirk about where you’d like to go.

Wedding Ceremony
Make your wedding extra special with a sail on your special day. Whether you want to marry at sea, arrive at a seaside location by boat or simply take pictures on board, there are lots of ways to incorporate a sail into your day’s activities.

Insider Tip:
-Sailing, like all on-water activities, is weather dependent. Keep your phone with you on the day of your sail in case there are inclement conditions. Captain Kirk will call and discuss the situation with you if he has any concerns.
