Whether you’re vacationing with the kids or enjoying a romantic getaway for two, Summit 913 makes it easy to relish everything Panama Beach City has to offer, and then some. The beautifully furnished condo overlooks the sugary beach and the Gulf of Mexico, and it’s part of a family-friendly resort whose amenities include swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and a game room.
Summit 913’s private balcony will doubtless be a favorite place to start and end your day. Savor your morning coffee while watching dolphins gambol in the waves; sip a nightcap while pointing out the constellations in the sky. And be sure to catch the sunset over the gulf at least once during your stay; after all, you’ll have a front-row view.
The sliding glass doors that connect the balcony to the living area also allow you to admire the view even as you’re comfortably ensconced indoors. Decorated in blues and creams that match the colors of the sea, sky, and sand, the living area is an ideal retreat after a day on the go. Kick back on one of the couches and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable, play Uno with the kids at the dining table, take advantage of the free WiFi to book a tee time at Bay Point or Holiday Golf Club, each of which is just 15 minutes away.
Summit 913 is close to numerous restaurants. What’s more, the resort has its own casual eatery, Bikini Bob’s, as well as a picnic area with grills where you can cook and eat alfresco; if you reel in any cobia or mackerel from nearby Russell-Fields Pier or while on one of the many gulf fishing charters, you can cook it up out here. The condo also has its own compact but well-equipped kitchen with a full array of cookware, tableware, and other accoutrements. The dining table seats four people, and two can cozy up to the breakfast bar.
Though it has only one bedroom, Summit 913 can sleep as many as six people. That’s in part because a hallway alcove has been converted into a sleeping nook with twin-size bunk beds perfect for the kids. In addition, one of the living area sofas opens into a queen-size bed. As for the bedroom itself, it boasts a sumptuous king-size bed where you can sprawl out and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV in comfort. The bedroom has its own bathroom as well; there’s a convenient half-bath for additional guests.
If you think Summit 913 is well appointed, wait until you see the rest of the complex. The Summit has not one but two beachfront swimming pools, one of which is seasonally heated, plus a pair of kiddie pools. It also features two outdoor hot tubs. A third hot tub is indoors, as are the fitness center, the saunas, and the game room. Chaises line the spacious sundeck surrounding the pools, so you can dry off in the sun after your swim. And you don’t have to leave the pool area if you work up a thirst; there’s a tiki bar right on the patio. Little ones will probably be more interested in the resort’s playground on the dunes between the sundeck and the beach.
A private walkway connects the resort to the sparkling white beach and the Gulf of Mexico. No need to pack up the car and drive before you can feel the sand beneath your feet. When you stay at Summit 913 you can gather seashells, scan the surf for dolphins, and swim, canoe, kayak, paddleboard, and parasail in the water anytime you want.
Please note that the Summit charges a $20 registration fee per condo ($40 during spring break) upon check-in. And from May 26 through August 11, there is a seven-night minimum stay. You could stay twice or three times as long, however, and still never run out of things to see and do. The beach really is your backyard at Summit 913. Book your stay today and get ready to make sun-filled memories that will last a lifetime.
