The Bottom Line:

At Sisters of the Sea & The Dive Bar, you can pick up the tastiest seafood and comfort food dishes seven days a week. But if you arrive on the right day, your meal could be elevated to great heights by a chance for mermaid encounters. The breathtaking views of the Grand Lagoon are nothing to scoff at either, creating the ultimate dining experience in Panama City Beach.

With the chance for mermaid encounters and a pool to swim in while you wait for your order, the Sisters of the Sea & The Dive Bar offers a dining experience unlike any other. Their location in Pirates Cove Marina is the perfect place for all that magic to happen, as it provides panoramic views of the Grand Lagoon.

At each visit, you have the choice between eating poolside or lounging in their comfortable indoor dining area. Across both areas, they have 10 TVs keeping everyone entertained and streaming popular sports games whenever they are on.

The real show begins, however, on Friday and Saturday when the mermaids come through to chill in the shell in the main dining area. They gladly pose for photo ops and may even join guests in the pool to show off their sweet moves. When you have a chance, do not forget to ask about their big fish tales to revel in the enchantment they bring to the table. And if you are really lucky, pirates may even join the fun, as they are known to do from time to time.

Once you are able to take your eyes off the special guests, browse through the menu for an equally delightful time. They have a wonderful array of comfort food, seafood, and more, providing everything guests could want from a waterfront restaurant.

Fan favorites on the menu include:

There is no better way to experience both of the signature sauces served at this restaurant than the Frickles. Served with the iconic sassy mermaid sauce and goddess dressing, this appetizer starts with kosher dill pickle chips that are breaded with care. Then, they are fried to a deep golden brown and piled high on the plate, providing enough to share, if you wish.

She Crab Bisque
Available in either a bowl or a cup, the She Crab Bisque provides all the best flavors of the sea in every bite. This soup begins with an exquisite cream base that is elevated with sherry. To that, they add lump crab in portions big enough to write home about.

The Starliner
Touted as the house specialty, and for good reason, the Starliner is definitely a sandwich you must try at least once. They make this amazing creation by piling up smoked brisket and provolone on French bread. Then, they add caramelized onions and put the concoction on a press before serving it with gravy alongside.

The Sirens Song
Known for its ability to win awards left and right, The Sirens Song promises to tantalize your taste buds from the first bite to the last. This dish features steamed crab claws, mussels, shrimp, and scallops that come together for a dip in a white wine broth. A little bit of spice and a dash of cream finish off the flavors and ready the dish for the table.

Sister’s Famous Fried Strawberries
You cannot leave this restaurant without ordering up the Sister’s Famous Fried Strawberries. This dessert centers around breaded and fried strawberries, which are plenty enough on their own. They are made even better, however, by being arranged bottoms up with a chocolate and strawberry glaze underneath and frosting separating each one.

Although the food is quite upscale and the dining experience out of this world, this restaurant maintains a casual dress code. You can arrive in your beachwear and swimsuit with confidence you can get a table inside or out. Since all their furniture is waterproof, you can even go from pool to table without worry about causing a ruckus along the way.
