A small location brimming with character just off Buena Vista Point, Amavida offers an array of brews, all crafted from organic single-origin coffee beans from environmentally-conscious, small-scale farmers. You’ll also find a delicious selection of teas and fresh pastries, as well as made-to-order breakfast biscuits and sandwiches during the morning hours.
If you’re used to Starbucks, expect a different atmosphere here. Not a lot of frills, but exceptional service and a cozy atmosphere that feels far more at home in St. Andrews than mainstream coffee chains. Inside you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating in a spotlessly clean front shop.
It’s a favorite place to stop in with a friend for breakfast, a delicious cuppa, and a friendly chat; you can also pick up a bag of whole bean or ground coffee to take home, and there’s a wide variety–one of the reasons Amavida was named Roast Magazine’s Micro-Roaster of the Year.
True coffee connoisseurs will appreciate that the coffee beans are roasted locally, so they’re always fresh and loaded with flavor. If you don’t see quite what you want on the menu, the baristas are happy to work with you to create the drink you’re looking for, and in the mornings an on-premise chef creates mouthwatering breakfast sandwiches and biscuits.

The St. Andrews Amavida is nestled on the corner of 10th and Bayview, right beside Oaks By The Bay Park. It’s easy to access from the marina and other bay view areas, and the neighboring park’s boardwalk makes a great outdoor stroll with your fresh coffee or tea in hand.
