Located in Port St. Joe, Florida, and also serving the entire “Forgotten Coast,” Daly’s Watersports is a dive shop that offers marine services and saltwater adventures, such as diving, boating, snorkeling, and more. Whether you’re looking for a great dive sit to practice your skills or you’re interested in learning to dive for the first time, Daly’s offers options for everyone.
The shop itself offers equipment for rent or purchase, and their helpful, knowledgeable staff can help fully outfit you for your adventure. Whether you’re looking for wetsuits, cameras and housings, BCDs, or gear bags, they have you covered.
For individuals who want to give scuba diving a try for the first time, Daly’s Watersports offers their Discover Scuba Diving course. It’s not a scuba certification class, but it allows beginners to try scuba out to see if they enjoy it. You’ll get the chance to learn how to use scuba equipment while you’re in shallow water, and since it includes an actual dive, it may count towards your PADI Open Water Diver certification if you decide to move on with your certification.
Daly’s Watersports also provides training programs to help get you dive certified as well. Since instructors are on staff, they’re often able to help vacationers complete their full certification while on vacation. However, PADI home study or e-learning before arriving is required.
If you want to enjoy some excellent dive sites and enjoy as much time as possible below the water, Daly’s Watersports offers Dive Charters onboard the “Sting. The 30-foot Ribcraft boat runs clean and fast, and Dive Charters involve going to two locations and include drinks and snacks, weights, services of a dive instructor, divemaster, or guide, and air, as well as a USCG-licensed boat captain. All you’ll need to bring is towels and your scuba gear, which you can rent at the shop if you don’t have your own.
The crew at Daly’s Watersports is familiar with all the best nearby dive sites, and the Gulf of Mexico is full of artificial reefs and wrecks that offer you the chance to see abundant sea life. Dive sites are available for beginners and experienced divers.
